Nitzan Lebovic

Nitzan Lebovic is an assistant professor of history and the Apter Chair of Holocaust Studies and Ethical Values at Lehigh University. 

Nitzan is the author of The Philosophy of Life and Death: Ludwig Klages and the Rise of a Nazi Biopolitics (Palgrave Studies in Cultural and Intellectual History, Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), and the editor of special issues of the New German Critique (Political Theology, 2008), Zmanim: A Historical Quarterly (Politics and Power, 2008), and Rethinking History (Forthcoming: Nihilism, 2014). Nitzan published articles about German-Jewish History, Film, and Literature. He is the co-editor of Catastrophes: The History and Theory of an Operative Concept (De Gruyter, 2014) and Nihilism and the State of Israel: New Critical Perspectives (Political Theory and Contemporary Philosophy Series, Continuum, 2014).
