Prof Dennis B. Klein is Director of the Jewish Studies Program and Professor of History at Kean University in New Jersey. He is the author of four books, including The Jewish Origins of the Psychoanalytic Movement (1985) and Hidden History of the Kovno Ghetto (1997).

He is the founding editor in chief of Dimensions: A Journal of Holocaust Studies and the founding director of the Anti- Defamation League’s Braun Center for Holocaust Studies. He is a Fulbright-Hays Fellow, Phi Beta Kappa, and recipient of numerous research awards. In 2006 he will be a Research Fellow at University College London.
