We’re thrilled to announce that our innovative project, Library of Lost Books, has been shortlisted for the prestigious PR Report Award 2024 in two categories: Politics & Society/Non-Profit and Content Communication/Integrated Communication and Content Strategy.

The Library of Lost Books project focuses on rediscovering and bringing attention to books and manuscripts that were lost or destroyed by Nazis during the Holocaust. Its integration of digital history methods and interdisciplinary research has been widely praised for blending academic rigour with innovative public engagement strategies. The project’s digital and physical exhibits have also demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to content communication, combining immersive storytelling with archival work.

Being nominated in the categories of Politics & Society and Content Communication reflects the broad impact of the project, both in terms of its societal relevance and its ability to communicate complex historical narratives through diverse platforms and media.

The full shortlist of nominees can be found here: https://www.prreportawards.de/shortlist-2024/

The winners will be announced later this year, and the Library of Lost Books team hopes to continue its award-winning journey with another victory in these highly competitive categories.
